INDUSTRIAL SECTOR
Gas chambers for inspection and leak detection
FLIR Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras can detect methane, sulfur hexafluoride and hundreds of other gases quickly, accurately and safely, without shutting down systems. With FLIR's OGI cameras, you can quickly examine large sections of equipment and inspect areas that are difficult to access with traditional contact measurement tools. OGI cameras can also detect leaks at a safe distance and show invisible gases as clouds of smoke.

Intrinsically Safe Methane Detection

Quickly check thousands of connections for leaks of natural gas (methane) and other hydrocarbons from a safe distance to avoid regulatory violations, fines and lost revenue
Methane and VOC leak detection
The FLIR GF320 gas detection FLIR thermal imaging camera uses OGI technology to detect hydrocarbon and volatile organic compound (VOC) leaks from natural gas production and use.
FLIR has received third-party validation that FLIR's GFx320, GF320, GF300 and G300a cameras meet the following sensitivity standard set by the EPA for the NSPS OOOOa methane standard:
Your optical gas visualization equipment must be capable of visualizing a gas that is half methane, half propane at a concentration of 10,000 ppm with a flow rate of ≤60 g/h from a quarter-inch diameter orifice.

Find SF6 leaks easily

Examines subtraction circuit breakers for sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) leakage from a safe distance in high-voltage areas, without having to shut down operation
Finds leaks in steel plants

Protects workers and the environment from toxic levels of carbon monoxide (CO) by detecting leaks quickly and effectively.
Detects leaks in hydrogen-cooled generators

Imaging the tracer gas, CO2, with an optical gas imaging camera allows operators of hydrogen-cooled generators to effectively find hydrogen leaks.
Detects R-124 compressor leaks

Find leaks early to avoid disruptions in operations, prevent loss of perishable products and limit the environmental impact of toxic refrigerants.
Gas detection camera for integration

The FLIR OGI G300a thermal imaging camera is capable of visualizing gas clouds - the leaks - of volatile organic compounds.
See more and inspect faster

See smaller leaks using the same optics and at the same distance as with previous models, thanks to a 4-fold increase in pixels within the field of view.
Maximize efficiency

Safely locate gas leaks and perform accurate thermal inspections with a single camera.
FIXED AND AFFORDABLE OGI SOLUTION

Offers other industry-leading features for continuous monitoring applications, such as high sensitivity mode, remote motorized focus, and open architecture for integration of third-party products..
FOR INDUSTRIAL FURNACES AT HIGH TEMPERATURES

FLIR's GF309 camera is designed for use in industrial furnaces at high temperatures. These infrared cameras are ideal for monitoring all types of furnaces, heaters and boilers, particularly in the chemical, petrochemical and utility industries. Specially designed to see through flames, FLIR's GF309 also features a removable heat shield designed to repel heat away from the camera and operator, and provide better protection.
