History of Apliter

Apliter Thermography was founded in 2012 when Sergi Quiles, its founder, obtained the distribution of Teledyne FLIR handheld thermal imaging cameras in Spain. In 2013, it was licensed as a certified training center by the Infrared Training Center (ITC), which gave it a competitive advantage by being able to offer both training and product sales to its customers. In 2015, they reached an agreement with the Retrotec brand for the distribution of blower door equipment in Spain and Portugal, consolidating their presence in the market.

By 2018, Apliter expanded its offering with the distribution of Teledyne FLIR fixed cameras, including automation solutions and drones. During these first years, until 2019, they managed to capture important customers from the construction, energy and industrial sectors. In 2020, they initiated the development of their own thermographic solution, IRTIM, which laid the foundation for the company's sustained growth.

In 2022, Apliter was recognized as FLIR's first premium partner in the Iberian Peninsula and received the Innovative SME award from the Spanish government. This achievement spurred investment in the development of proprietary solutions, with the goal of becoming the reference provider of thermography in Spain and Portugal. That same year, they started the distribution of optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras, opening a new market in petrochemical plants for the detection and quantification of fugitive emissions of industrial gases.

In 2023, they received an award from FLIR for their remarkable growth over the last five years, a significant milestone, as the award is EMEA-wide and recognizes Apliter as an outstanding distributor of thermography products in Iberia. Finally, in 2024, they launched their innovative IRTIMfire, IRTIMelec and IRTIMcam solutions to the market, and are currently in the midst of international growth and expansion.

Technical Team

APLITER's team is made up of committed, qualified and experienced people, complemented by a policy of strategic alliances with companies in related sectors, to provide integral solutions of high value for the companies that rely on our services.

Our technical team is the visible face of APLITER, whose members advise and train our customers. We have qualified trainers with ITC Level Category III, in order to train and advise thermographers and future thermographers.

We also have a team of R&D engineers in charge of the development of new thermographic applications.

All our operational areas work together to offer solutions to our customers' needs. Our commitment goes beyond the customer, taking into account also the satisfaction of our employees and all our stakeholders.
