IRISS VP-12-US Ultrasonic Window
The IRISS VP-12-US ultrasonic window is an acoustic inspection port that is installed in the enclosure of the panel and allows ultrasonic data to be collected with the panel closed and the equipment energized, in accordance with safe work practices such as NFPA 70E.
It standardizes the measurement point and method, ensuring that the data is repeatable and comparable across inspections and among technicians. Its internal grid allows ultrasound waves to pass through but prevents objects from being inserted into the panel.
