Last February, APLITER Thermography reconvened a course of Certification in Thermography ITC - Category 2 to a team of 5 professionals of the nuclear power plant Ascó, located in the province of Tarragona. This training was carried out by a member of our experienced training team in a classroom format and In Company at the facilities where the trained professionals perform their tasks.
It should be noted that APLITER's In Company training has a double advantage: on the one hand, it is not necessary for the group of students from the same company to travel to take the training and, on the other hand, the exercises carried out during the practical sessions are personalized by evaluating in situ real situations that the trained professionals encounter in their day-to-day work.
The ITC Certificate in Thermography - Category 2 issued by the renowned Infrared Training Center (ITC) is the second level of certification for thermographic technicians. This advanced level of certification enables professionals to carry out thermographic inspections and complete reports, in addition to learning about issues related to infrared thermography that allow them to deepen and broaden their knowledge about the physics of infrared and the different measuring equipment, among others. On the other hand, the Certificate in Thermography ITC - Category 2 also enables to guide Category 1 personnel in their work, so it is an indispensable tool for professionals with other thermographers technicians in charge.
