Use of FLIR thermal imaging cameras in biology


At the University of Glasgow, the Department of Biodiversity and Animal Health has been using thermography in their research projects since the 1990s. They have used thermal imaging cameras such as the FLIR P65 and FLIR E300 for research on animal metabolism in both laboratory and field work, with particular emphasis on birds and mammals.
