Thermography monitoring of a casting ladle


In a foundry, it is possible to use thermal imaging cameras such as the FLIR A310 to monitor in real time the correct condition of the refractory lining. Through the thermography of the refractory, predictive maintenance actions can be foreseen, so that the impact on production is minimized. The article proposes the FLIR A310 thermal imaging camera with FLIR IR Monitor software as a standardized solution, although customized solutions can be developed.
