Road pavement condition inspection using FLIR thermal imaging cameras


Road Doctor inspects the condition of Finnish roads using a vehicle equipped with a FLIR A315 thermal imaging camera, a high-resolution visual camera, geo-radar and GPS. The vehicle travels along the roads and acquires geo-referenced data, which is then processed. The result is a mapping of the areas of the road in need of repair.
