Hydrogen reformers are widely used in the refining and petrochemical industry. At Bayernoil, they inspect the tubes of the reformer exchanger using the FLIR GF 309 thermal imaging camera to detect problems of fouling, oxide layers, coking, control the temperature to avoid overheating that brings the metal closer to creep temperature... Thanks to thermography monitoring, they can increase the productivity of the hydrogen reformer.
