FLIR thermal imaging cameras to determine the health of forests

The Nottingham Trent University start up uses thermography using the FLIR P660 thermal camera to be able to perform large volumes of inspections of damaged trees, up to more than 100 in a day. Thanks to thermography, it is not necessary to climb trees to make visual inspections, nor to make tastings under the bark: with their measurement methodology they are able to estimate the depth of damage affectation.
