Red Bull Racing F1 team uses FLIR thermal imaging cameras in wind tunnel


In aerodynamic development, wind tunnel tests are essential. The team uses thermography using a FLIR A310 thermal camera. Thanks to the thermal camera, they can detect anomalies and temperature asymmetries in the car and tires that can translate into overheating in the race, as shown in the thermographs in the article.
