Quality control by thermography in the automotive industry: The FORD Case


At the FORD Genk plant they use 3 FLIR A320 thermal imaging cameras to automatically check the air conditioning system, the windshield heating system and the rear window heating system. The thermal imaging cameras are strategically located on the production line and automatically check that all manufactured units comply with the standards.
