The FLIR A6481 25 mm motorized lens is a mid-wave infrared (MWIR) lens with a motorized FPO bayonet mount, designed for FLIR's R&D and scientific cooled cameras. Because it is motorized, the focus can be adjusted remotely via software or a controller, without needing physical access to the camera.
It operates in the 3.0 to 5.0 µm wavelength range with an f/2.5 aperture, which is the same as specified in the A6481 data sheet, ensuring that the instrument maintains its sensitivity and measurement accuracy. It is the mid-range focal length in the lineup: it offers greater range than the 17 mm model and a wider field of view than the 50 mm model.
