Description
FLIR Si2a-LD
The FLIR Si2a-LD acoustic camera for continuous leak monitoring combines an array of 124 ultra-low-noise MEMS microphones with a 12-megapixel optical camera for the precise detection of compressed air and gas leaks. Designed for demanding industrial environments thanks to its IP66 rating, it enables early detection, quantification of leak rates, and automated calculation of energy costs 24 hours a day.
Using AI-enhanced algorithms and extensive connectivity—including PoE+, Wi-Fi, digital outputs, and integration protocols such as REST API and MQTT—this solution automates continuous acoustic monitoring without the need for direct manual intervention in the field.
Main features
High-precision acoustic array: 124 integrated MEMS microphones with a bandwidth of 2 to 130 kHz and a detection range from 0.3 m to 200 m.
Leak Quantification and Cost Estimation: Automatic leak detection with volume calculation and annual cost estimation for compressed air and gases (methane, nitrogen, CO₂, hydrogen, and others).
12 MP optical camera: Visual overlay of the acoustic map on a color image with a refresh rate of up to 30 fps during capture.
Integrated Analytics and AI: Intelligent detection with configurable alerts based on dB SPL level, leak size, or estimated economic impact.
Connectivity and Cybersecurity: Industrial M12 Ethernet interface, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), 4–20 mA outputs, digital I/O, and secure communication via MQTT/REST API.
IP66 Industrial Design: Ultra-durable chassis with VESA 100 × 100 mounting, PoE+ power supply (IEEE 802.3at), and an operating temperature range of -20 °C to 50 °C.
Common applications
Continuous monitoring of compressed air networks, valves, and connections to reduce energy waste in industrial plants
Early detection of fugitive emissions and seal degradation in gas lines (methane, hydrogen, ammonia, nitrogen)
Integration into control systems and predictive maintenance in automated facilities
Compatibility Enterprise integration via RESTful APIs, data export in .json and compatibility with the Flir Thermal Studio analysis software (files .nlz).
