Description
Industrial acoustic imaging camera, Si2-PD
Partial Discharge Detection
The FLIR Si2-PD acoustic imaging camera helps you reduce electrical equipment maintenance costs by providing an effective solution for partial discharge (PD) detection and response. This camera detects, locates, classifies and evaluates PD faults from up to 200 m (656 ft) away, to identify PD problems 30 times smaller than before. It provides on-camera and software-based severity assessments, giving you the support you need to make accurate maintenance decisions.
For specific applications, you can choose the Si2-LD for leak detection and bearing failure detection, or the Si2-Pro for complete electrical service, leak detection and bearing failure detection applications. These models are available in the related products section, allowing you to customize your maintenance approach to your needs. There is also a FLIR Si2-PD version with NO WIFI option.
ADVANCED PARTIAL DISCHARGE DETECTION
Identify PD problems from up to 200 m (656 ft) away and 30 times less than those detectable by previous generations; indispensable to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS TOOLS
Detailed analysis tools, including on-device categorization of discharge type, severity and recommended actions, helping to make decisions quickly and plan the appropriate response.
FLEET MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONALITY
Ensure optimal use and maintenance of equipment in large-scale industrial environments with fleet management, cloud data integration and OTA software updates. Combine acoustic imaging with thermography in the same report.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:
- Detect, locate, classify and assess partial discharge (PD) faults from up to 200 m (656 ft) away
- Identify PD 30 times smaller than ever before
- On-camera, software-based severity assessment of PD problems and PD type classification provide best-in-class decision support.
- One-handed operation with auto-adjustment, 8x zoom, 12 MP digital camera and IP54 rating
- Designed to scale the enterprise through the use of fleet management functionality so managers can ensure tools are properly used and maintained
MAIN APPLICATIONS:
- Easily monitor transmission and distribution conductors and components over long distances and reduce the need for emergency repairs
- Inspect substation transformers for PD problems before they cause a dangerous and costly explosion
- Find PD problems on any high-voltage equipment to reduce public complaints of radio interference and audible noise
