The FLIR GF306 optical gas imaging camera visualizes sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and other gas emissions without the need to shut down operations. SF6 is used in the electric power industry as an insulator and cooling medium for gas-insulated substations and circuit breakers. The portable, non-contact GF306 device allows you to quickly scan substations for leaks while keeping a safe distance from high-voltage equipment. By detecting leaks at an early stage, the GF306 reduces lost revenue from breakdowns and repairs.

IMPROVED EFFICIENCY

Inspections performed with the GF306 are faster than those performed with traditional leak detection tools and are capable of detecting SF6, anhydrous ammonia (NH3) and ethylene (C2H4).
