Description
FLIR GF306 OGI Thermal Imager
for SF6 gas leak detection
The FLIR GF306 gas detection FLIR thermal imaging camera uses OGI technology to detect sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) leaks and other gas emissions remotely and without the need to act on the installation. SF6 is used in the electrical distribution industry as an insulator and cooling medium for gas-insulated substations and circuit breakers.
The FLIR GF306 OGI camera is portable and capable of remote, non-contact inspections, making it a fast and safe way to perform a thermographic inspection of the substation. Reduce maintenance costs and losses from a possible substation outage by performing gas detection thermography inspections with the FLIR GF306.
Efficient, multi-detection equipment
A thermographic gas detection inspection with the FLIR GF306 camera is faster and safer than a traditional sniffer inspection. In addition, the FLIR GF306 is capable of detecting sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), anhydrous ammonia (NH3 - R717) and ethylene (C2H4) leaks.
Versatility for maintenance
The FLIR GF306 thermal imaging camera is capable of measuring temperatures up to 500 °C, so it can cover two functions with one thermal imaging device.
Save refrigerant and capacity losses
Optimize the operating cost of equipment operating with SF6. By detecting gas leaks efficiently, from safety distance to high voltage areas.
Sensitivity to visualize even small leaks
The FLIR GF306 mounts a high-sensitivity, high-resolution, cooled QWIP detector, so you can visualize sulfur hexafluoride leaks and identify the exact source of the emissions and begin repairs immediately. In addition, the FLIR GF306 OGI camera has maximum accuracy for temperature measurement, allowing you to observe temperature differentials and enhance visual contrast for better detection of the gas plume.
