At Borealis' low-density polyethylene production plant in Sweden, they use gas detection thermography with the FLIR GF306 camera to monitor volatile hydrocarbon leaks in the facility. The investment is positive as they have detected many leaks that, because they were small or difficult to access, had not been detected by sniffers.
