Thermography for gas detection integrated into robot for ATEX zone inspections


Using a FLIR GF320 gas detection thermal imaging camera, the RoboGas Inspector, a crawler-type working robot that replaces human presence in hazardous areas, has been instrumented. In this way, it is possible to carry out inspections to detect gas leaks with total safety for the personnel and for the installation.
