At the University of Texas Thermophysics Laboratory, they use the FLIR A6703sc thermal imaging camera to study the thermal properties of special materials and assemblies, such as photovoltaic cells, thermoelectric materials, and micromechatronic systems. Their findings are used in the development of new three-dimensional integrated circuit architectures.
