IRISS CAP-B Infrared Window for Busbars
The IRISS CAP-B infrared window is a large-format inspection window for non-segmented busbar systems, designed for power plants and large electricity consumers. It combines infrared, visual, and ultraviolet inspection through a single Poly-View polymer optical system.
Its screw-on design also serves as an access port: it is removed to repair a faulty joint, and once it is reinstalled and the system is powered up again, the joint can be inspected to confirm that the repair was successful. Its wide field of view allows the interior of the busbar to be observed from multiple angles.
