Description
High emissivity paint spray for high temperature applications
Special thermographic spray paint with high emissivity and high mechanical strength for long-term applications at high temperatures up to 1000°C. Precisely defined physical properties and dependence of emissivity on wavelength, viewing angle of an infrared camera and measured surface temperature enable precise results of non-contact temperature measurement.
Elemental properties
| ✓ High emissivity paint ✓ High mechanical strength ✓Opaque ✓ Permanent paint for long-term use ✓Suitable for uncooled thermal imaging cameras. | ✓ Resistant to high temperatures up to 1 000°C ✓ Suitable for applications in electrical equipment (very low conductivity). ✓ Suitable in industrial furnaces for temperature treatment of materials, machining of metal parts, heat-resistant construction materials at high temperatures.

Instructions for use
- Clean the surface, dry it and remove rust, grease and dirt. Cover other areas where paint is not to be applied.
- Shake the can for three minutes and do a test spray.
- Spray uniformly, with slow movements, from a distance of 30-50 cm. Apply four thin coats, wait for a while and apply again four thin coats.
- Spray at a temperature of 15-25°C. The paint hardens after two hours.
- After use, turn the bottle upside down and clean the valve by pressing for a few seconds.
High emissivity thermographic paints allow accurate non-contact temperature measurement. Many materials (metal, glass, some plastics) with a shiny surface and high reflectivity, with unknown or low emissivity, cause inaccurate or impossible measurement with the IR camera. LabIR® Paints thermographic paints create a homogeneous layer with high emissivity for very accurate measurements.
For specially designed paints, LabIR® Paints is the only company on the market that guarantees the emissivity for a given wavelength, the dependence of the emissivity on the viewing angle and also other characteristics: mechanical resistance, optical impermeability, etc.
