Description
SALAMANDER Thermal imaging camera housing
Thanks to its cylindrical internal shape, the SALAMANDER IR Housing accommodates thermal cameras from 29 x 47 mm to 40 x 40 mm cross-section. Available in four lengths, the SALAMANDER IR Housing can be easily adapted to the overall length of the camera, lens and connectors. Optionally, it can be extended with a housing extension. The rear panels with cable glands or protective hose connection allow the watertight passage of various cables and connectors up to 26 mm in diameter (42 mm with rear panel G). The patented Quick-Lock/Heat-Guide chamber fixing inside the SALAMANDER IR Housing guarantees a flexible but vibration-resistant mounting. Due to the good thermal connection, the housing acts as a passive heat sink. This reduces the chamber temperature by up to 20°C compared to free mounting.
For lenses up to 55 mm diameter (52 mm front cap) and cameras up to 40×40 mm section.
