RETROTEC Blower Door 6210X
The RETROTEC 6210X blower door is a high power air tightness testing system (blower door), with two calibrated Model 6000 fans, a double hole fabric door and DM32X manometers. The 1.5 HP motors together with the 8-blade fans are capable of developing a flow rate of almost 29,000 m3/h, so we can say that this system is more than capable of testing large residential and commercial buildings, either with one or two fans.
Included is a larger, easy-to-install aluminum frame fabric door that fits even larger door frames. Included with the fabric door and aluminum frame assembly is:
- A sturdy carrying case.
- A custom-designed fabric door for mounting two fans on the same frame.
- An aluminum frame with numbered parts allows for unambiguous, quick and easy assembly. Additional cross bars are also included to further stiffen the frame and achieve door stability, even at high pressures.
- Reinforced Velcro fastening straps to hold the fans securely.
With the fans installed in the fabric door, this system performs a fully automatic test using the pressure gauge, a laptop computer and our FanTestic software.
If you prefer, you can do the measurement manually: enter the pressure at which you want to do the test and get the results directly on the gauge display, you will find this way of working very convenient, and you will appreciate this unique option of Retrotec DM32X pressure gauges.
The DM32X manometer also offers an option to set the test pressure. You can choose the desired test pressure, and then let the gauge run the vent until the desired pressure difference is reached. In this way, as you seal leaks in your volume and decrease the leak rate, the gauge automatically adjusts the fan speed in real time to maintain the volume being inspected at the test pressure.
The software included with the DM32X touchscreen pressure gauge provides automatic data logging and allows remote control from a laptop computer. In addition, the recommended calibration interval for the DM32X pressure gauge is 5 years, giving you the peace of mind and the savings of avoiding costly annual calibrations, which are now a thing of the past.
The different diaphragm range configurations make the same unit capable of testing a wide range of volumes, either with a lot or with very little infiltration. This high performance fan includes 9 different flow range configurations for accurate results over a wide range of volumes. All Retrotec fans are made of a special, extremely durable plastic compound that makes them both lightweight and strong. In addition, with a Retrotec fan it is very easy to change the test mode from pressurizing to depressurizing your volume: just turn the fan on its panel.
