RETROTEC Blower Door 6120X
It is a high performance air tightness test system (Blower Door), thanks to the calibrated Model 6000 fan. The assembly also includes a standard fabric door and a DM32X pressure gauge. The 1.5 hp motor together with the 8-blade fan is capable of developing a flow rate of almost 14,500 m3/h, so we can say that this system is suitable for testing large residential and commercial buildings. A fabric door with aluminum frame is included for easy installation to fit door frames.
A modular, size-adjustable rigid door is included. Thanks to this rigid door, you will be able to perform the Blower Door test in less time and with maximum robustness of the assembly. Use these doors for the most professional inspections.
With the fan installed on the rigid door, this system performs a fully automatic test using the pressure gauge, a laptop computer and our FanTestic software.
If you prefer, you can make the measurement manually: enter the pressure at which you want to make the test and get the results directly on the display of the gauge, you will find this way of working very comfortable, and you will appreciate this exclusive option of RETROTEC DM32X pressure gauges.
The DM32X manometer also offers an option to set the test pressure. You can choose the desired test pressure, and then let the gauge run the vent until the desired pressure difference is reached. In this way, as you seal leaks in your volume and decrease the leak rate, the gauge automatically adjusts the fan speed in real time to maintain the inspected volume at the test pressure.
The software included with the DM32X touchscreen pressure gauge provides automatic data logging and allows remote control from a laptop computer. In addition, the recommended calibration interval for the DM32X pressure gauge is 5 years, giving you the peace of mind and the savings of avoiding costly annual calibrations, which are now a thing of the past.
The different diaphragm range configurations make the same unit capable of testing a wide range of volumes, either with a lot or with very little infiltration. This high performance fan includes 9 configurations for different flow rate ranges to achieve accurate results over a wide range of volumes. All RETROTEC fans are made of a special, extremely durable plastic compound that makes them both lightweight and strong. In addition, with a RETROTEC fan it is very easy to change the test mode from pressurizing to depressurizing your volume: just turn the fan on its panel.
