RETROTEC Blower Door 300X
After 2 years of development, the RETROTEC model 300 fan is a unique and versatile Blower Door test system. First of all, the air flow has been increased to be able to test a wide range of efficient buildings and homes. The RETROTEC 300 fan has been designed to deliver more power and to weigh less. In addition, thanks to the option of using batteries, it can run for hours without the need for electrical power.
But there is more, the tight design allows the Model 300 fan to measure flow rates of less than 0.0085 m3/h (0.0002 l/s), small enough to measure leakage from an electrical outlet.
The Blower Door test system based on the RETROTEC 300 fan represents the biggest innovation in leakage measurement systems in recent years.
The system allows you to perform the tests in automatic mode, controlling all the parameters and storing the data in a laptop computer. If you prefer, you can make the measurement manually: enter the pressure at which you want to make the test and get the results directly on the pressure gauge display, you will find this way of working very comfortable, and you will appreciate this exclusive option of RETROTEC DM32X pressure gauges.
The DM32X manometer also offers an option to set the test pressure. You can choose the desired test pressure, and then let the gauge run the fan until the desired pressure difference is reached. In this way, as you seal leaks in your volume and decrease the leak rate, the gauge automatically adjusts the fan speed in real time to keep the volume inspected at the test pressure.
The software included with the DM32X touchscreen pressure gauge provides automatic data logging and allows remote control from a laptop computer. In addition, the recommended calibration interval for the DM32X pressure gauge is 5 years, giving you the peace of mind and the savings of avoiding costly annual calibrations, which are now a thing of the past.
The different configurations of calibrated ranges allow a single fan to measure a greater variety of flow rates, from minimal infiltrations in a room, to an entire Passive house. All RETROTEC fans are made of extremely durable lightweight plastic. In addition, the fans are easily reversible. It is possible to switch from pressurization to depressurization mode by simply rotating the fan about its vertical axis.
