The new DJI Matrice 3D and 3TD drones have been specifically designed for DJI Dock 2. Matrice 3D is equipped with a telecamera and a wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter, which meet the needs for high-precision mapping tasks at 1:500 scale. Matrice 3TD, equipped with a wide-angle camera, a telecamera and an infrared camera, can reproduce both visible light and thermal images, making it suitable for security and inspection operations.

Efficient site evaluation
Prior to deployment, the aircraft can detect the surrounding environment using visual sensors and quickly determine if there are strong GNSS signals in the area.
This new visual assessment significantly speeds up site selection, reducing the time required from five hours to twelve minutes or less.
Dust and water resistant: IP55
DJI Dock 2 is designed with safety in mind. With an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, [1] Dock 2 can operate stably for long periods, even in harsh climates and environments.
Integrated environmental monitoring system
DJI Dock 2 integrates multiple sensors, including rain gauge, anemometer and thermometer, to detect weather changes in real time. In conjunction with online weather forecasting, it can provide timely alerts or complete tasks using DJI FlightHub 2 to effectively reduce risk when flying.
Improved stability on landing
With next-level image recognition technology, the aircraft accurately identifies positioning markers on the landing pad. In addition, the new landing pad skid ramp centering design facilitates accurate landing.
