Extech MO260 Combination Moisture Meter
The Extech MO260 moisture meter combines two measurement methods in a single device: the non-penetrating sensor for measuring the relative moisture content of wood and other building materials without marking the surface, and the direct penetration method for determining the moisture content in drywall and similar materials.
The result is displayed on a backlit digital LCD screen, which is useful in basements, storage rooms, and dimly lit areas. The Extech MO260 moisture meter allows you to first locate the affected area noninvasively and then confirm it by driving the electrodes into the surface.
