IRISS ThermoWrap covers offer a simple, safe and cost-effective way to visually monitor the temperature of electrical connections and splices. Thanks to their thermochromic material, they change color depending on the temperature, making it possible to detect possible hot spots at a glance, without the need for tools.
How does ThermoWrap work?
Made of a patented flexible polymer, ThermoWrap adheres directly to the surface of cables, connectors or splices. When the temperature reaches abnormal values, the coating changes color, visually alerting of possible overheating.
This allows maintenance teams to act before a breakdown or electrical failure occurs.
