IRISS Thermo-Spots are self-adhesive thermochromic labels that change color when a certain temperature is reached, offering a quick, simple and economical way to detect hot spots on electrical or mechanical components.
Ideal for hard-to-reach areas, they allow visual monitoring without the need to open cabinets or use measuring tools.
How does Thermo-Spot work?
Each label contains a thermochromic polymer calibrated to change color irreversibly or reversibly, depending on the model. They adhere directly to the component to be monitored (e.g. an enclosure cover, a connection or motor housing), and show a visible change when the thermal threshold is exceeded.
This makes it possible to act quickly in the event of a possible thermal failure, even without previous experience in thermography.
