Description
IRISS Thermo-Paint - Thermochromic paint for continuous thermal monitoring
Visualizes heat directly on the surface
Thermo-Paint is a thermochromic paint that changes color depending on the temperature of the surface where it is applied. It allows easy identification of hot spots or overheating conditions on electrical, mechanical or structural components, even without the use of measuring instruments.
How does Thermo-Paint work?
It is applied like any industrial paint, directly on the surface to be monitored: housings, covers, connections, pipes or equipment.
When a specific temperature threshold is reached, the color of the coating visibly changes, alerting of a possible thermal problem.
It is available in reversible (the color returns to its original state upon cooling) or irreversible (indicating that a critical threshold has been exceeded) versions.

Key benefits
Permanent thermal indicator: Allows constant visual monitoring, without contact.
Easy application: Paint with brush or spray, on metallic or non-metallic surfaces.
High durability: Resistant to moisture, chemicals, abrasion and UV exposure.
Reversible or irreversible models: Adapted to different maintenance strategies.
Versatile: Ideal for electrical, mechanical, structural or hydraulic systems.
An effective tool for predictive maintenance and operational safety
Thermo-Paint is especially useful in environments where frequent thermal camera inspection is not possible or where a direct and continuous visual alarm is required.
It complements any condition-based maintenance strategy and helps prevent failures before they become critical incidents.
