Description
FLIR Si124 - PD - Industrial Imaging Camera
acoustics - ultrasonic with integrated battery
Partial discharge detection
The FLIR Si124-PD acoustic imaging camera is used to detect partial discharge problems in high-voltage electrical systems. This lightweight, single-handed solution is designed to help engineering professionals identify problems up to 10 times faster than with traditional methods. With 124 microphones, the Si124-PD produces an accurate acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in noisy environments and over long distances. The acoustic image is superimposed in real time on a digital camera image, allowing the user to precisely locate the source of the sound. Users can then apply FLIR's severity assessment analysis to classify the severity of the problem and provide guidance on recommended actions to resolve it.
The FLIR Si124-PD acoustic imaging camera features a plug-in that allows users to import acoustic images into FLIR Thermal Studio software for offline editing, analysis, and advanced acoustic and thermographic reporting.
Field analysis and reporting can also be performed using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. Through regular routine maintenance, the FLIR Si124-PD can help facilities save money on repairs and increase asset reliability.
