The FLIR Si124 acoustic imaging camera is capable of locating pressurized leaks in compressed air systems and detecting partial discharge of high voltage electrical systems. This lightweight, one-handed camera can be used to identify problems up to 10 times faster than traditional methods. Containing 124 microphones, the Si124 camera generates an accurate acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in noisy industrial environments. The acoustic image is transposed in real time onto a digital camera image, making it possible to accurately determine the source of the sound. Equipped with the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service, this intelligent tool automatically saves images after they are captured. The stored files can then be accessed and sound sources can be separated for further analysis and problem determination. Through regular routine maintenance, the FLIR Si124 can help facilities save on electricity bills and postpone the investment in installing new compressors.
