Description
FLIR PV48 Solar Panel Tester and I-V Curve Tracer
The FLIR PV48 is a solar panel tester that measures the maximum power and efficiency of each photovoltaic module. In just a few seconds, it measures the maximum power (Pmax), the voltage and current at the point of maximum power, the open-circuit voltage (VOC), the short-circuit current (ISC), and the temperature.
Its I-V curve tracer allows for visual analysis of panels up to 800 W. It features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a large, high-contrast display that is readable in direct sunlight. It comes with MC4 test cables and alligator clips for quick panel diagnostics.
Main features
- I-V curve tracer for panels up to 800 W.
- Measurement of Pmax, Vmax, Imax, VOC, and ISC.
- VOC up to 60 V and ISC up to 30 A with an accuracy of ±1%.
- Backlit TFT display that is readable in direct sunlight.
- Rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a runtime of about 5 hours.
Common applications
- Inspecting Panels Before Installation
- Diagnosing Underperforming Panels
- Preventive Maintenance of Photovoltaic Systems
Compatibility
For individual photovoltaic modules with MC4 connectors, up to 60 V, 30 A, and 800 W.
