LWIR thermal micro camera module

 

FLIR's high-resolution LWIR thermal micro camera module now includes the LEPTON 3.5 sensor. The LEPTON 3.5 offers the same 160 × 120, 12-micron uncooled focal plane array (FPA) as the Lepton 3.0, but now provides radiometrically calibrated output across the entire 19 200-pixel array. The FLIR Lepton 3.5 also increases the scene dynamic range to +400 °C, providing more flexibility for demanding applications. Incorporating the same format and functionality as other popular Lepton products, the FLIR Lepton 3.5 allows for quick and easy upgrades with little effort.

The revolutionary Lepton was the first full-featured longwave infrared sensor small enough to be used on smartphones and other mobile platforms. The new radiometric FLIR Lepton 3.5 offers users more advanced capability when temperature values and high temperature scenes are required. Its size, smaller than a 2 cent coin, low power consumption, unmatched image quality and easy integration, all combined with the lowest cost of any FPA-based thermal sensor, provide users with the ideal tool for their innovative product development needs.
