The FLIR Boson® Plus 640 Radiometric is an uncooled LWIR thermal camera module designed for system integrators and system builders seeking maximum performance with optimized size, weight and power consumption (SWaP).
This model offers industry-leading thermal sensitivity (≤ 20 mK) and an enhanced AGC filter, ensuring images with higher contrast and sharpness even in complex scenes. Its low video latency enables better tracking, decision support and real-time critical applications.
Thanks to its radiometric capability (temperature measurement per pixel), available in 640×512 and 320×256 px versions, the Boson Plus enables the development of advanced thermal monitoring and analysis solutions.
The design maintains mechanical, electrical and optical compatibility with the previous generation Boson, offering easy upgradeability. In addition, it incorporates user-selectable interfaces (USB, CMOS or MIPI) that facilitate integration with state-of-the-art embedded processors (Qualcomm, Ambarella, among others). The comprehensive SDK, GUI and integration documentation further simplify OEM development.
It is NDAA compliant and ITAR-free, which expands its possibilities for use in international projects.
