Description
Extech's 48VFL13 temperature PID controller offers enhanced Fuzzy Logic PID and a soft start feature that protects heaters from cold starts. PID plus Fuzzy Logic tackles even the most demanding applications, eliminating overshoot, unwanted process fluctuations, and drift. The Soft Start feature is ideal for processes, such as those employed in the thermoplastics industry, where careful, accurate, and slow heating of the product is required. This unit accepts thermocouple and RTD inputs and offers a single-stage ramp and hold program with set point ramp limit that can be combined with the Soft Start feature for critical process demands. The 48VFL13 comes complete with mounting bracket hardware and screw terminals for easy wiring. Also available with relay output (48VFL11).
