The Extech 40180 from Extech is a tone generator and probe amplifier kit. This heavy-duty kit with audible tone easily identifies cables or wires. The insulated inductive probe tip prevents short-circuiting of conductors. Now you have wire tracing, continuity testing, busy/free/ring testing, and tip/ring identification. Includes alligator clips, RJ45 and RJ11 modular connectors, 9V battery, and carrying case.
