Description

FLIR GF309 Thermal Camera

for furnace inspection

Thermographic camera for thermographic inspections through flames.

The FLIR GF309 thermal imaging camera for furnace inspection is a device for the inspection of furnaces and high-temperature processes (reformer furnaces, industrial furnaces, chemical heaters and coal-fired boilers) during furnace production.

The thermal camera format improves the safety of the thermographer, since it allows measuring the temperature through the flames and at a safe distance avoiding exposure to damage due to the high temperature. Thanks to the FLIR GF309 thermal imaging camera it is possible to monitor in real time the operation of the reformer furnace and detect trends through predictive maintenance, improving the performance of the installations and avoiding failures and unplanned shutdowns.

FLIR GF309 infrared camera features

Improved efficiency

The FLIR GF309 thermal camera for furnace inspection allows you to measure the temperature of internal furnace components through the flames without interrupting the industrial process or waiting for scheduled shutdowns, reducing inspection time and allowing you to monitor the internal temperature of the furnace components at any time.
Through regular use of the FLIR GF309 camera you can optimize the operation of the reformer furnace or boiler for maximum efficiency and durability of the system.

Versatile thermal imaging camera for maintenance

The FLIR GF309 thermal camera can operate over a wide temperature range, from -20°C to +1,500°C, so that in addition to high-temperature thermographic inspection of the furnace, high-precision electrical and mechanical inspections can be performed, making the camera even more useful for the predictive maintenance team.

Wireless connectivity

The FLIR GF309 features a micro USB to Wi-Fi adapter, with which you can connect the camera to cell phones or tablets for wireless image transfer or remote control of camera functions, a feature especially intended for inspections requiring two technicians or to quickly share images for a second opinion.

Safe thermography

The safety of thermography technicians is key. The temperature measurement of the internal parts of the furnace or boiler is performed by visualization through the flame, without contact and at a safe distance. The FLIR GF309 furnace inspection thermal imaging camera has been developed for the purpose of performing such inspections, so it has a detachable heat shield designed to reflect heat away from the thermal camera and the camera operator thermographer for added protection.

Safety in furnaces and reformers

A better parameterization of the different temperatures in the internal components of furnaces and boilers allows a better control of the operating conditions, improving the performance of the installation and avoiding unscheduled shutdowns and even serious failures.
