Test Adapter for FLIR EV45-T2 Chargers
The FLIR EV45-T2 test adapter is used to test AC electric vehicle charging stations with a Type 2 connector (IEC 62196-2)—the standard in Europe—in both residential and commercial settings. It includes a converter to Type 1 (SAE J1772).
It checks the protective conductor (PE) and the wiring, simulates the states of the control indicator (CP), indicates the maximum current the cable can handle (PP), and tests the residual current device (RCD/CCID) trip. Using a FLIR DM286 multimeter, it also measures the load voltage and frequency, and using the FLIR IM75-2, it allows for cable insulation testing.
