The T-Guard system for temperature monitoring and predictive maintenance through thermography has been developed based on the FLIR Ax8, and can be integrated with existing PLCs and network video recorders in the plant. The system is simple and robust, as the FLIR Ax8 itself already has an alarm system, which the T-Guard complements and extends with an NVR and alarm and event logging.
