Over the course of their service life, some solar panels develop defects, which can be rectified if detected in time by means of a periodic inspection with a FLIR thermal imaging camera, but which are irreparable if action is not taken at the right time. They can even cause an outbreak of fire, which is particularly serious when the installation is located on the roof of a building with goods or machinery inside.
