The metro connects Delhi with the neighboring cities of Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad and is almost 200km long. The article explains the solution they have found to use the FLIR E50 thermal imaging cameras, not only for predictive maintenance of the catenary, but also by making a tailor-made assembly and using them in complex cases as a fixed thermal imaging camera with datalogger on a temporary basis.
