FLIR thermal imaging cameras to study rice cultivation


The Japan Science and Technology Agency uses the FLIR Ax8 thermal imaging camera in a program to develop rice plantation growth estimation systems. The camera continuously measures the surface temperature of the crop. Researchers are able to analyze the temperature evolution of the crop during crop growth.
